Why is Blanca so suspicious about Alberto Salazars death?
Blanca is suspicious about Alberto Salazars death because she feels like she knows who did it. Blanca thinks Sapo murdered Salazar, Because the man had a huge bite mark on his shoulder and It also happened in East harlem which is where he lives. The reason she has a strong feeling that it was Sapo is because Blanca has witnessed Sapo fight and he likes to bite people when he fights. So shes thinking that he was part of this Murder. "Tell me that you know for a fact that Sapo is not involved in that reporters death. A piece of the mans shoulder was missing".
Blanca asks Chino if he knows if Sapo had anything to do with it because Chino and Sapo are close friends. Chino knows it was Sapo but he would'nt want to tell Blanca because Blanca could "snitch" and have him locked up.

    1. I agree with Ariel's question "Why is Blanca so suspicious about Alberto Salazars death?" I agree because Blanca's character shows that she is suspicious about Salazar dieing. In the book "Bodega Dreams" by Ernesto Quinonez, Blanca has a flash back of Sapos biting problem when he fights that suspected her of Salazar's death. On page 86, Chino says "I figure it was then she really got suspicious. And when the newscasters mentioned the chunk of flesh missing from Salazar's shoulder, memories must have rained down on Blanca like parachutes." According to this quote, Chino is suspects that Blanca thinks it was Sapo that killed Albert. After his death on the news they mentioned a bite mark on Salazar's shoulders which have made Blanca have a memory of Sapos past fights where he have bitten his opponents shoulder. This shows that Blanca is getting suspicious of Alberts death because of the bite mark on his shoulder. Also she has a eye on Sapo, she is also getting suspicious it was him that killed Salazar.

  2. Why does Blanca suspect that Sapo had something to do with Salazar's death?

In Bodega Dreams some characters like Blanca have suspicion about Salazar's death. She thinks that Sapo had something with his killing. "Sapo was always Sapo and no one messed with him because he had a reputation for biting" one reason that made Blanca think that Sapo killed Alberto Salazar was that the murder happened in the neighborhood where they live and she knew Sapo sold drug and he work for Willie Bodega. In addition, she knows how he reacts if he's fighting. ''She'd been an eye withness to one of Sapo's bites". It had been a gruesome display of hate and anger and Sapo only Sapo " Blanca knew Sapo did it because when they were in Julia Burgos junior high she saw when Sapo bite Mr. Blessington. She asks Chino if Sapo had anything to do with it because when she saw on the news that Salazar was being reported that there was evidence of a struggle, he suffered a serious bite to the shoulder. Chino knew who it was but he didn't want to snitch on Sapo.

  3. Why did sapo react so madly to Blessington when Blessington took sapo drawing?
Sapo react so madly because Blessington was being rude. Sapo and Blessington were at school. Blessington is the teacher from science. When Blessington was passing to check students homework Mr. Blessington saw that sapo was drawing and he didn't like that and Mr. Blessington took sapo drawing and grave sapo paper. An evidence is "Blessington then leaned over and took sapo's drawing from him and crumpled it in his hands. Sapo got so mad straight up from his seat and thrust himself at Blessington so they were face to face." This quote mean that sapo didnt like the way that Mr. Blessington try to be very rude to him by leaning over him.
